Qurban Humanitarian Assistance

In 1997, we launched AMPRO’s Qurban services as an extension of the company’s social enterprise programme. Known as Project Qurban Amal, the mission is to encourage the public to take part in an annual humanitarian exercise.

Qurban meat is distributed through a global network to people in need in different parts of the world. Among the recipients of AMPRO’s Qurban aid include victims of tragedy and natural disasters such as those in Aceh (Tsunami), Afghanistan (war), Iran (BAM earthquake), Cambodia, Iraq (war), Pakistan (earthquake) and Lebanon (Palestinian refugees).

We also undertook several other entrepreneurship training and coaching programmes with other community organizations like Yayasan Mendaki as well as private sector groups.

AMPRO BUSINESS CLUB

AMPRO Business Club is a platform for social entrepreneurship. It allows entrepreneurs to network and collaborate. They include thriving as well as budding and emerging entrepreneurs who are recovering from crises. Where possible major entrepreneurs locally and regionally are roped in as partners.

Amongst the key initiatives were the Serantau Meeting, Serantau Business Council, the Forum Komunikasi Kemajuan Usahawan Serantau or FOKUS (Forum for Communication and Development of Serantau Entrepreneurs).

* serantau means regional.
